19 Employers Are Set To Shed Jobs In Illinois

As reported by Illinois Review on June 12, 2013:

"Nineteen Illinois companies announced they may cut more than 2,000 jobs in coming months, according to a state report.

Thirteen companies will shed nearly 1,500 jobs, according to the state's May Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, or WARN report. Six other Illinois companies that had previously reported layoffs indicated larger cuts are coming. The added layoffs total more than 550 people.

The companies making the cuts include Caterpillar Inc., TransCore LP, AbbVie Inc., KBR Inc., All Tri-R, Berkeley Contract Packaging LLC, D.B. Hess Co., Chartwells Dining Services, Testor Corp., Hubbell Central Distribution Center, Commercial Vehicle Group Inc., PerkinElmer Inc., HK Logistics LLC, and Illinois Central School Bus."
